Editorial Policies

Review Process

All submitted articles should be original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed by two experts of the particular field. Articles submitted to the journal must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts will be initially screened for their suitability and those that appear appropriate for publication in APJEST will be sent to an expert referee for evaluation and may also be sent to a second referee for second time review. The identities of the referees will remain confidential. Based on the report, the Editors make a decision either to accept for publication, to reject it, or to ask the author for revisions as per suggestion provided by the referee. Revised versions should be sent to the editorial office in a timely manner, otherwise the original receipt date may be replaced. To ensure rapid process of review, APJEST intends to reach a decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a submitted article on the basis of no more than two rounds of reviewing.
